This charismatic harbour view studio is home to a collaborative of genuinely talented independent stylists, Kristina, Nikki and Jackie. Each with their own flair and love for their craft. They pride themselves on being up to date and on par in education with current trends and techniques. This dynamic brunette and blonde trio, packs the perfect punch of personality, attentiveness and skill to insure you are smiling from the minute you sit in their chairs.

Kristina Seysener
Independent Stylist
Born and raised in Sooke, and for over eighteen years, I've built my craft around one thing: Making people feel and look like the best version of themselves when they sit in my my chair. What started as a passion has become a career of precision, patience, and genuine love for the work.
My specialty is blended blondes. Soft, seamless color that grows out gracefully and looks effortless every day. I work with The natural flow of the hair, so the result moves and falls the way it was meant to.
Beyond the chair, I'm passionate about Fitness, Nature Reiki, Breathwork, Animals, and Homeopathy. Practices that keep me grounded and remind me that wellness is a whole-body thing.
A few honest notes so we find the right fit: I focus on services that are gentle on my shoulders, so I don't take on thick or curly hair, and I also don't offer children's cuts.
If that's you, I'll happily point you toward someone who can.
Nikki Wright
Independent Stylist
Coming from a background of health care, and a seasonal sport fishing guide in Haida Gwaii; Nikki has always had a passion for working with people. In 2009 she graduated from the Academy of Excellence and dove head first into her new love of the hair industry.
Nikki Moved to the island in 2012 from Ladner BC. After moving with her family to Sooke this past summer, she decided to fully embrace the local life and join the team at Rustic Roots.
Nikki loves all things hair, but blended blondes are her niche. She is dedicated to excelling in her craft and most importantly, strives to have her clients smiling and feeling beautiful and comfortable from the minute they sit in her chair.
Jackie Isacson
Independent Stylist
Jackie was born and raised in Sooke BC. She is extremely passionate about connecting with her guests and making people feel confident with their hair and spending the extra time paying attention to detail. Her specialties are blondes, lived in colour, brunettes and nano bead extensions.
Jackie graduated from the Vancouver Island University's hair dressing program in July 2023. She is currently taking her Red Seal and will become certified in April 2025. Jackie likes to attend education classes frequently and stays up to date on the most advanced colour cutting & extension techniques.
From the moment you meet Jackie her warm smile and attentive demeanour will instantly win you over.
